APPLICATIONS FOR THE OPERATING ENGINEERS LOCAL NO. 841 APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE BEGINNING Thursday, January 2nd THROUGH Friday, January 31ST, 2025.
Applications and supporting documents may be obtained between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time) Monday through Friday at the following locations: (1) International Union of Operating Engineers Local 841, 6801 South U.S. Highway 41, Terre Haute, IN 47802; (2) International Union of Operating Engineers Local 841, 1602 Main Street, Vincennes, IN 47591; & (3) International Union of Operating Engineers Local 841, 616 South Oakwood Street, Oakwood, IL 61858 (Central Standard Time); or (4) between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm (Eastern Standard Time) at the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 841 Apprenticeship & Training Center, 2034 West 1800 South, Clinton, IN 47842. ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE PICKED UP IN PERSON.

To be eligible for Apprenticeship, the following basic requirements must be met:
- At least eighteen (18) years of age by June 1st to apply.
- Physically able to perform the work of the trade.
- Have the reading, understanding, writing and communication ability as would enable the applicant to perform the tasks of an Apprentice in a safe manner and comprehend the subject matter taught in related instructions.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. Equivalency Certificate.
- Possess a current driver’s license.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Take Aptitude Tests and receive a qualified score.
- Submit application and all necessary supporting documents to the JATC’s office.
